Are your services free?
A: Yes. Our services are one hundred percent absolutely free as we are a non-for-profit agency.
Do you only serve a specific part and borough of New York City?
A: No. We serve all five boroughs and New York’s Greater Area as long as our potential clients are eligible to being enrolled in our program and can commute to our agency.
Can undocumented immigrant women, couples and families be enrolled at your agency?
A: Yes. Absolutely! Our primary clients are underserved and immigrant populations whether they are documented or undocumented.
Are you a federally funded program?
A: Yes. We are one hundred percent federally funded and our agency is a sub-governmental contracted agency.
Does your staff speak different languages other than English?
A: Yes. This is a requirement for our team of Case Managers and Health Workers. Since we are based in New York City, where we are receiving a lot of newly arrived immigrants from Spanish-speaking countries, we have Spanish-speaking workers as well as French speaking workers since Harlem also has a predominance of French, African, and Haitian immigrants.
Do you only serve pregnant women?
A: No. Wonderful Early Beginnings Inc. serves women who are in the following phases: Pregnancy, Prenatal, Postpartum, Interconnection, and young mothers.
Is there an enrollment procedure and process?
A: Yes. We have an In-Take Worker who will conduct the enrollment process and assess the eligibility of potential clients.
Do you conduct Health Education Workshops and Referrals?
A: Yes. Absolutely!
Do you have any incentives for the clients once they are enrolled?
A: Yes, most definitely.
